We love the Ocean Wonders Jumperoo. We had to put a hard pillow underneath him so that our baby could enjoy it since he isn't quite tall enough to use it properly. He is 4 months old and approximately 17 lbs and 26 inches. He already figured out how to turn himself around in the 360* chair, although not perfectly. He loves the mirror on it and loves that he can bounce a little. There is a nice tray for holding a small favorite toy or a pacifier (or food, perhaps?). The chair also has a nice little shelf on it which helps to stabilize little babies in the upright position. It was easy to put together and only required a screwdriver when opening the battery compartment. It plays sound and music when it bounces. Was very well packaged. Above all else, our baby really enjoys his new Jumperoo. Side note: we try to mostly avoid batteries with our son, for various reasons--mostly due to annoyance of repetitive songs--but this is one of those toys that you don't... Read more

I did not buy this through Amazon. I actually bought one used. But let me tell you my son loves this thing. He sits in there for a half hour at a time bouncing away!The music is not super annoying. It is easy to get apart and clean. It is big but most bouncer are. We take it outside and let him sit in there to. It is very stable. I highley recomend it. My baby is 6 months old and 17 pounds.

I ordered the Ocean Wonders Jumperoo after seeing that it was the later product release after the Rainforest version, which had rave reviews. This was a great purchase and while our wee one can still barely touch the floor in it (she's 4.5 months), we placed a pillow underneath so she can jump and move. She loves it and exhibits this by smiling and laughing.
There are several cool features, including an oyster that opens up to reveal a pearl, which lights up when a button is pressed to open the shell. The tunes are great, but there's a trick to getting to another group of tunes which include "Row Row Row your boat". The most commonly heard tune I hear is "My hat it has three corners" - all aquatic related themes. To switch tunes, flip the music button left and then right. If it doesn't change the music, repeat until you hear the music change.
There are bubbling and gurgling noises and all tunes/sounds can be activated by jumping or playing with an object... Read more

Our baby girl is 11 weeks old. We bought her the fisher price sugar plum swing honestly...only for the looks. Little did we realize it's super loud and the motor started to make a clicky noise after just 5 days! I then got online and read horrible reviews about the swing so my husband and I went back to BRU and exchanged it for the less expensive, luv u zoo cradle swing and it was the best decision ever! We've owned it for over 2 months and never looked back!
I have to disagree with the precious reviewer that posted a bad review saying the motor is loud. It Is super quiet! The trick to it is if you hear the motor at all, just separate the legs farther apart again and it will be quiet again. The key for it to stay quiet is the legs to stay the farthest apart possible.

I bought this swing when my daughter was 1 week old. She is now 5 weeks old and loves to take naps in her swing. She loves to watch the mobile/mirror and the music is very nice and soothing. It has multiple speeds and so far the slowest speed is plenty for my baby. The music is volume control which is a nice feature some other swings didn't have. I also like that the mobile goes around, some of the other swings either didn't have a mobile or it was stationary. The colors are bright and the animals are very cute. Yes the colors are more boyish but all the girl swings were quite boring :) I also love that it can run off batteries OR be plugged in! Quite a few fisher price swings were battery only!

When my 3 yr. old son was a baby we had the older version of this swing (the ocean wonders) and he absolutely loved it! The only downside was how often we had to buy batteries for it, that got to be a little expensive. So when our 6 week old daughter was born we were super excited that this version could be plugged into the wall. Unfortunately the plug in, along with how cute the swing is, seem to be the only good things about this swing. At the slowest setting, it still moves too fast for a newborn. Also, it is really loud, even after separating the legs as far as they'll go. This swing isn't "bad", but it isn't that great either. I recommend that parents shop around before purchasing this swing for their little one.
REVISED on 1/2/12 - Over the weekend my daughter fell asleep in her swing and I went to do some laundry. When I went to check on her about 25 minutes later there was a strong burning smell coming from the motor of the swing and it had completely stopped... Read more

Easy Assembly, Sturdy Construction The swing took us less than half an hour to assemble and required only a Phillips screwdriver. One minor problem: we had to re-thread the mobile so it could hang properly. The assembled swing has a 26-by-33-inch footprint and stands 47 inches tall with the mobile attached, so it takes up quite a bit of room. This is something to consider if you have limited living space. However, the base folds together easily, so you can lean it against a wall when it's not in use.

I will agree with the previous reviewer that the assembly instructions leave a bit to be desired. In particular:
1. The infant seat legs can be installed backwards (and it looks like it would take a screwdriver plus a lot of elbow grease to ease the locking "tabs" back out to separate the parts again -- I was lucky and guessed right the first time) 2. There's some white foam wrapped around the inner support bars of the seat frame that have a "do not cut" sticker on them. That does NOT mean "find some other way to remove this packing material besides cutting it off".. those styrofoam pads are supposed to STAY on the bars (as cushioning since they are right next to the baby under the seat material), so DO NOT REMOVE THEM at all. The tubes are white (i.e. don't match the rest of the swing) which makes it look as if they don't belong in the assembled product at first, so it would be easy to mistakenly rip them off in the initial frenzy of unpacking. 3. I was severely disappointed in this swing at first, but after a few fixes, it's much better. I've included my original review with updates:
1. The seat base has a strap that isn't shown in the instruction diagrams, so you don't know whether that is the front or the back of the seat base . . . until you've already attached it to the swing base and are putting the rest of it together. Then, you find out that strap goes in the back (this will make sense when you put it together - put the strap in the back). Not a big deal, except that I've already attached it to the swing base, and it turns out the huge orange Warnings are now at the front of my once-beautiful, most-expensive-on-the-market swing . . . and once you click these pieces together, IT'S PERMANENT, so I can't turn it around. I don't even know why screws are included, because even after I removed them, this sucker doesn't come apart. So I can't put the huge orange Warnings facing the back (I only need to read them... I am so glad that we spent the extra money and bought this swing. I put this swing together in about 30 min while I was 35 weeks pregnant and on modified bed rest. It was a cinch, and the directions were self explanatory. I never had the slightest problem.
The design and color of this swing is a perfect match for our homes decor and paint. The swing itself feels sturdy and comfortable. The cover comes off easily to wash and the mobile is just enough to keep baby entertained but not restrict the view for him to look else where and for us to see him. The seat comes off so easily and turns directions without any effort. It is so easy to place the seat back on the swing, no need to jostle baby around. I was very pleasantly surprised how high the seat actually sits up off the floor when not on the swing. It is almost chair or couch height which is perfect.
